Symptoms
Project Online multi-line field, e.g. ‘Description’ values are displayed with extra symbols - HTML tags.
Cause
Such behavior may occur in EPM Pulse due to Project Online internal text formatting for multi-line fields.
Solution
1. Click 
button on the widget to open Parameters, ‘Fields’ tab.
2. Select formatting for the fields preceding the problem multi-line field, it can be ‘Cost’, ‘Duration’ etc. depending on the type of data entered to the field. If you are not sure about the format type, you may select ‘Auto’.
3. Select ‘HTML’ format for the multi-line filed. If it is the only field displayed on the widget, select ‘HTML’ straightway.
4. Click 
button.
The multi-line text value in the widget is displayed without extra symbols.
