Office 365 - Integration Prerequisites

Office 365 prerequisites

An Office 365 account with Global Admin permissions in Office 365 tenant should be used for integration.

Project Online prerequisites

Before you start please make sure you have a valid license for Project Online. It is required to have a valid Project Plan 3 or Project Plan 5 license. 

The account used for the integration (Global Admin) should have Site Collection Administrator permissions and should be added to the default PWA Administrators group.

The following pre-defined Custom Fields should be created in the PWA:

  • project level Flag Custom Field with the name 'Sync To Office 365' (this field is required)
  • project level Text Custom Field with the name 'Office 365 Group Url' (this field is optional)
